Langen, February 17th, 2023 dacoso GmbH, an IT service provider for network performance and data security headquartered in Langen near Frankfurt, has acquired 100 percent of we.Networks GmbH. In April 2021, dacoso had already acquired a 51 percent stake in the Munich-based provider of software-defined networking. With the complete takeover, the company is further expanding its market position as a service provider for integrated solutions in the field of innovative networks.
we.Networks plans, implements and operates networks based on SD-WANs, which combine different line types (e.g. MPLS, carrier ethernet, internet) into a highly meshed network. Software is used to automatically control the routing, bandwidths and service classes of the connections as needed.
