New dacoso management

Network performance and cyber security provider aims for expansion

dacoso GmbH, one of the leading IT service providers for networks and cyber security in the DACH region, has a new management team: Stefan Hofmann (CSO) and Nick Niermann (CFO) have been appointed Managing Directors of the dacoso Group as of August 30, 2024. Together with Felix Pohl (CEO), they will be responsible for the strategic direction and growth of the company. Founder and former Co-CEO Thomas Joswig is stepping down from his position, but will remain associated with the company as a shareholder.

In June 2024, dacoso announced the investment of private equity firm Waterland, which has since been approved by the authorities. With Waterland's support, dacoso aims to position itself as an international market leader. The aim is to establish the company as a central platform for innovative and complementary services in the field of network solutions and cyber security.

Stefan Hofmann and Nick Niermann are long-standing dacoso executives who have made a significant contribution to the company's success. CEO Felix Pohl: “I am looking forward to leading dacoso into the next phase of growth together with Stefan and Nick. As a team, we will utilize and further develop the new opportunities opened up by the collaboration with Waterland. My special thanks go to Thomas Joswig, who has not only played a key role in shaping dacoso for over two decades, but has also played a decisive role in shaping the direction of the company.”
